The Ducks!!

I helped Sarah move from one apartment to another !! It was fun! But we got sooooo tired of moving. We decided to go feed the ducks! So we took all her old stale bread and went in the afternoon!

They just kept coming over as soon as we opened the bread sack!! Sarah preferred to feed the baby one's ... it was so fun!! We giggled all afternoon!

We were even joined by the Aflac duck... but we didnt' get the insurance... hahaha

One duck was eyeing Sarah's bum.. or patiently waiting for us to turn around and notice him.. and we had to be careful and not drop any or one duck would nibble our toes!!

As soon as the bread was gone and we wadded up the bag.. they all turned and got back in the water.. it was kind of funny that they were so used to people feeding them...

As we were leaving we noticed this little squirrel trying to sneak stuff out of the garbage can.. we decided to see how close we'd get before scaring him away.. we got pretty close!!
What a fun fun day... you don't have to be a little kid to feed ducks!!!

Our 4th of july weekend and trip to Jackson Hole

We had a fun weekend when Virginia came for the 4th of July. Friday before the fourth we took a quick trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming.

We made a few stops along the way there.... some at rest areas! And some just along the mountainside... beautiful scenery!!

We did the touristy thing and walked around the town and looked at all the touristy shops and things...

Then we drove to another part of Jackson Hole and road the tram up to the top of the mountain! I was a bit scared of the height of it all but as you can tell no one else was.
What a fun day!!

Beautiful day!!! we had a good time. Came home and had pizza and movies!!!

Our Salt lake Trip

Well, Jim and I had a great time in Salt Lake City last weekend. We left early Saturday morning. It rained really hard the closer we got to Salt Lake, rather scary to drive in!!! I thought we were gonna die, but luckily with Jim driving we were safe. We ate lunch at the Burger Bar in Roy Utah, just outside of Salt Lake. It was good! Had huge burgers, and homemade buns and fries. The onion rings were good old fashioned batter dipped ones!! Yummo!!

Then since it was so rainy we went straight to Cabela's and shopped for 3 hours! Jim got some new shirts for work for Father's day. I bought Andy a 'fly gun'. Supposed to work better than a fly swatter. We'll see.
At Cabella's they had a tent all set up and I laughed cuz they had a manniquin inside sitting there by a dog, and a checker board set up on the floor (like he was playing checkers with his dog... and these turkey heads scared me.

Then we went to the Fashion place Mall. Bought a box of Mrs. See's chocolates. I luv their Key Lime truffles!!! Ummm....

Went to our hotel, the 'Radison" (sp?) which we got really cheap at Price line.com. It was a pretty neat room. Had a sleep number bed, which was really comfy, and even had a light in the closet, and a big jacuzzi tub which was a surprise! We were worn out from the stress from driving and shopping, plus it kept raining, so we just ordered dominoes to deliver, ate a whole large pizza between the two of us, felt bloated, and took a jacuzzi bath, and felt like a beluga whale.

Slept in Sunday, watched 'Double Jeapardy' and ate M&M's for breakfast with a diet coke. The sun came out and it was a beautiful day, so we checked out of the motel, and went to the gateway. Had lunch at a great southwestern grill, Ztejas. It was awesome, sat out on the patio, I had Catfish tacos, and JIm had a chicken enchilada that was delicious. Also had a chile chorizo cheese dip with chips to munch. I highly recommend it. Then we just shopped , and then decided to head for home. Stopped at the layton mall, but didn't get anything there.

Drove the rest of the way home, slightly down cuz we had to work the next day. So we stopped at Ruby Tuesdays for a quick bite for supper. Later I felt sick in the night, too much food!!
Was fun tho'
