My Babysitting kits

Last Tuesday, I made babysitting kits with my girls in Young Womens. I made canvas bags for each one, and bought fabric markers for them to decorate them anyway they wanted.



Then we made playdough.. I love homemade playdough!! which Katie had neon colored food coloring so we had some great playdough. Then I'd found some cute color books and crayons at the dollar store and of course, every babysitting kit needs some bubbles..

Then we made sock puppets to help with story telling. I got tube socks and inserted the toe for a mouth and sewed them down the sides so they wouldn't keep popping out. Then we added eyes and hair!!!


I loved that they all ended up smiling!!!Didn't mean to, they just ended up with a smile after I sewed the mouth!! We had fun.. Hopefully that will help the girls with their summer babysitting jobs!! I love my puppet.. named it Prisilla J. Puny!!
