Sarah actually spent her birthday day in Rexburg so she could go out to dinner with Dave. He had taken her to Twin Falls and Sun Valley the weekend before for Valentine's Day. She got to meet his family , and seems to quite like them. And seems to be really in love with Dave. They had a fun time at dinner, and Dave gave her the pic from porter's she had been wanting. (much to my chagrin, an engagement ring wasn't part of her birthday gift.) Guess that will be a surprise when and if she gets one. :o)
So the next day, Sunday, she came home for a family party. We watched Shrek 3, which neither one of us had watched recently, and we had the best time laughing at all the silly little things that struck us funny, we had to keep rewinding those parts over and over. Don't know if it was good to laugh that much with my incision... but we had a good time. And they say laughter is the best medicine.
After our movie Sarah was really tired and fell asleep.... until I tried to sneak a pic and show her how excited she was for her birthday.... can you see the slight smile???
We had a fun little party with Mom and Dad. Jim had to leave for a meeting so he got his dessert later.
For her birthday dinner we had pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw and potato wedge fries.
I made a cookie's and cream ice cream pie for her too! it was all yummy!!!
Happy Birthday Sarah!! We love you!
